Welcome to Tostock! Tostock is a small village in West Suffolk, England, which lies about seven miles east of Bury St Edmunds and six miles west of Stowmarket. It has a population today of about 385 living in a mix of 173 properties, dating from medieval times to the present day. The village is based around two greens - The Green, which forms the centre of the village, and The Leys, which lies to the south of the village. This web site was originally posted in August 2000, as a way of putting Parish Council minutes on the internet. However it has now expanded and gone through many incarnations, and is now hosted by Suffolk County Council who have also provided the domain name. The County Council scheme has led to the creation of numerous village web sites in Suffolk, and they have created a list of links to these sites. Remember though, we were one of the first!
