Floodlights at St Andrews Church
Floodlights have recently been switched on at St Andrews Church, Tostock. These powerful lights come on each night at dusk, and bath the church in a warm golden light which makes it visible from miles around. The official switching on was held in late December 2001, and was done by Mrs Rita Williams, formerly of Flatts Lane.

Picture 1 is blurred as it was taken with a slow shutter speed. It shows the Church pictured from the North against the night sky

Picture 2 is a more focused shot, but portrays the striking colour of the light in late December 2001.
Picture 3 is an interesting shot taken with a very slow shutter speed. It has accidentally captured the trace from the tower floodlight.
Picture 4is another slow shutter picture.
